Washington State Youth Soccer Recreational Cup Important Team Information
The weather forecast for this week is not favorable for the fields. With rain all week it will not give them time to dry out. On behalf of the Host Clubs I ask that all teams warm-up off the playing fields as much as possible this weekend (except for those games on turf). This will help keep the fields in the best condition possible for Sundays games and championships. Even if the field is open when you arrive and there is no game being played before yours, we ask your team warm-up off the field.
The forecast is also calling for a chance of snow showers this weekend. This could be a repeat of last year where many championship games were played in the snow. Please ensure to give yourself extra travel time to the games. Games will not be cancelled due to a light snow shower. In the event there is significant accumulation on the roads and it would be unsafe to travel, please contact me ASAP.
Game reporting procedures
· Each team (both home and away) are required to text the game score to me within 15 minutes of the game completion.
· The text is to include the Game Number, Score, and Name of winning team. So a text should look like this: 18004 2-1 VU Ravens
· Text game scores to 360-907-4733.
· The text will be confirmed by a “Thanks” response. If you do not receive a confirmation within 15 minutes, please re-text.
Tournament standings will be posted online within 45 minutes of game completion. Host clubs may post standings on a display board, but this is not a requirement for them to do.
If you have any issues during the tournament; First) find the host club field monitor and see if they are able to help, if unable to solve the issue, Second) call Ron at 360-907-4733. I (Ron) will be located at the Harmony Sports Complex in the soccer building all weekend.

The designated “home team” will be responsible to provide three game balls at the start of the game to the game officials. In addition they will be responsible for changing color of the team uniforms in the event of a color conflict.
Team Rosters and Player Cards
A copy of your team roster is to be provided to the game officials at the start of each competition. The roster is to be signed by your club and association registrar. All player cards are to match the listed team number and name as printed on the roster. All coaches (up to four max) must be listed on the roster and also have a current year coaching card. All cards must be signed by the player/coach, have the player/coaches photo on it, and be laminated. Only those coaches listed on the roster are allowed on the player side of the field.
Please contact me if you have any questions. Good luck to all teams!!
